- A Master's degree in health, evaluation or social sciences plus Five (5) to seven (7) years recent, related experience in evaluation and research, project management, performance monitoring or quality improvement initiatives, preferably in a healthcare setting; training and experience in developing evaluation frameworks, collecting data, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and producing a variety of reports for different audiences;

In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization and in close partnership with the NH Research support team, the Lead, Indigenous Health Data, Evaluation and Research Support (the Lead) provides leadership in the development and implementation of data, evaluation and research support strategies and activities that inform Indigenous Health decision-making in the Health Authority.
The Lead provides leadership in incorporating northern Indigenous perspectives and input into the development and implementation of data gathering and governance, evaluation and research support strategies and activities.
The Lead facilitates research and evidence- informed Indigenous Health practice with the Quality and Information Management team and with Professional Practice.
The Lead works in partnership across the organization to guide, cultivate, and facilitate a range of data, evaluation, and research support activities, enhancing the use of Indigenous Health evidence in practice and decision-making and enabling broad Indigenous engagement in research.
The Lead influences the overall efforts in research, data, and evaluation for the entire organization to embed indigenous practices, approaches and voices across NH.
Starting salary will be approximately from $86,398 to $107,997 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
