    We are looking for a skilled candidate to join our team as the Manager of Engineering Reliability and Innovation. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data Engineering, this role involves leading a team of experienced data engineers and architects to support the transformation of our data and analytics platform.

    This position plays a crucial role in driving change, aligning with our evolving strategy, data roadmaps, and enhancing our GCP engineering practices. The focus areas include overseeing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, SRE, real-time data ingestion, addressing technical challenges, and supporting special projects and POCs. Our team thrives on cloud-first approaches and adopting cutting-edge technologies to drive our mission forward.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Lead a team of talented data engineers and architects to create value through data enablement
    • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
    • Drive innovation by establishing standards, best practices, and continuous improvement for building enterprise-grade data pipelines
    • Collaborate with Cloud service providers to align roadmaps with upcoming releases and product offerings
    • Develop business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions with data-driven insights
    • Create technology roadmaps for various audiences to enhance decision-making and investment recommendations
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop team scorecards and strategic imperatives
    • Support strategic and financial planning processes
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging negotiation and influencing skills
    • Mentor and lead a diverse and talented team

    Qualifications

    Your Profile

    • Technical leadership experience in managing data platforms and setting architectural direction
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
    • Keen interest in technological advancements and innovation in a dynamic environment
    • Strong communication skills in technical and business contexts
    • Ability to translate business requirements into high-level design models
    • Hands-on knowledge of cloud data architecture, data modeling, and development lifecycle management
    • Experience in data privacy, security governance, and ethical data usage
    • Proficiency in agile methodologies, cloud migration projects, and DevOps practices
    • Background in software and API development, with leadership experience
    • Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, and leading high-performing teams
    • Effective relationship builder with exceptional prioritization and negotiation skills
    • Experience managing large, complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders
    • Familiarity with a variety of tools, technologies, and programming languages
    • Experience driving cultural change to enhance operational effectiveness
