- Maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's mid-range plans, culture and competition.
- Working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Conducting recurring meetings with respective business units.
- Acting as an employee champion and change agent. Providing HR policy guidance and interpretation. Collaborating with Business Unit Managers to identify applicable training for employees.
- Recruiting new hires, conducting interviews, and make short list recommendations.
- Ensuring onboarding procedures are completed including orientations.
- Conducting exit interviews for resignations and retirements.
- Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to middle management.
- Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner with restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

- Diploma, Certificate or Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or Commerce.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Human Resources Business Partner, Generalist or similar role.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now or similar).
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Designation or working towards is preferred.
- Creating trusting and successful working relationships.

- Staying current with technical job skills.
