Tabangi Auto Group is seeking a motivated, passionate, and detail-oriented individual to join our fast-growing service team.You will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented technical and front-office staff to deliver a customer service experience that is unmatched industry-wide.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Technical Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively (Ability to read, write, & speak English fluently)
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows & Office, Google suite)
- Utilize management system parts matrix
- Achieve targeted margins on revenue categories
- Basic knowledge of vehicle
- Understand gross profit / gross margin markup
Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients, assessing their needs, and providing recommendations based on the maintenance schedule
- Managing each client interaction from start to finish
- Coaching, training and supporting the Service and Parts Advisor team
- Maintain a high Customer Service Experience
- Opening and Closing duties as necessary
- Ordering parts and managing parts inventory
- Submit warranty claims and easy pay solutions for clients
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Review service history and completed repairs; recommend service;
- Communicate to the technician detailed information regarding vehicle issue
- Collects payments
- Closes repair orders in a timely manner
- Review finished repair order for proper completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility
- Eliminates surprises for customers by reviewing service repairs and their associated charges to ensure accuracy
- Maintains open communications with technical staff regarding job status changes
- Promotes cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff and assists Service Advisors when needed
- Maintains composure and courtesy in dealing with customers and fellow employees
- Cooperate with all other dealership personnel necessary to guarantee quality service
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
- All other duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Service Manager position
Technician management:
- Ensure inspections have been completed on every vehicle
- Effectively collect and communicate necessary information and concerns from client to technician & technician to client
- Works closely with the automotive technician and client to inform, educate, and advise on technical issues that need to be addressed on the maintenance and repair of their vehicle
- Ensure sold times are listed for each service line before technician proceeds with work
Client management:
- Book appropriate customer appointment times
- Ensure client's primary concern is communicated to technician
- Keep client informed of vehicle service progress in a timely fashion
- Responsible to have knowledge and understanding of the features & benefits of the products and services available to clients
- Ensure walk around visual inspection is performed on the vehicle at arrival time
Teamwork:
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

- Adhere to shop safety standards, taking all possible precautions to insure the safety and health of self and others through maintaining a safe work environment
