    Description
    We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Toronto.
    Responsible for the planning, executing and delivery of Structural Engineering projects, ensuring the project is within budget and on schedule while managing the clients' expectations;
    Act as a Project Manager on projects where structural engineers are prime consultants;
    Procure new projects and clients by identifying business development opportunities, understanding industry and development in the GTA, leading proposal efforts including completing project scoping and RFP assessments;
    Manage day-to-day client interactions, communicate effectively with clients and internal/external project teams, and continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction;
    Managing project execution by providing direction to the project team, appropriately scheduling time and acting as main point of contact between internal and external project teams;
    Managing project financials including invoicing, progress payment certificates, collecting accounts receivables and managing project budgets;

    Oversee and Develop detailed structural designs for a variety of structural engineering projects such as: commercial and industrial building structures, transportation facilities, structures for gas industry and power generation, underground water retention structures, retaining walls etc.

    Perform complex engineering calculations and designs based on engineering principles and technical skill, experience, innovation, and engineering judgment, to transform project scope from concept design to construction, meeting applicable regulatory codes and standards; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with courses related to structural engineering;
    Advanced understanding of concrete and steel codes, knowledge of finite element analysis, building structural design, the Ontario and National Building Codes, the building permit processes, and applicable regulations, standards and regulations related to structural engineering projects;
    Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel;
    Excellent time management and organization skills;

    Experience with technical report writing; Access to a vehicle and a valid 'G' driver's license for travel to project sites.
