The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for a
Sessional Art History Instructors to teach the following University Transfer Course on campus.
- **ARTH 100, History of Art: An Introduction, section (10)*

Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:5 **ARTH 100, History of Art: An Introduction, section (101H) *
Wednesday Flex and Saturday 10:00 to 11:5 **ARTH 100, History of Art: An Introduction ,section (141) *
Wednesday and Saturday from 14:00 to 15:5 **ARTH 220, Renaissance Art in Europe, section (16) *
Monday and Thursday from 16:00 to 17:5 **ARTH 230, Nineteenth Century Art in Europe, section (19) *
Tuesday and Friday from 18:00 to 19:55.

These part-time sessional positions will
commence in May 2024 and end in August 2024.
Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
-
Master's degree in Art History
:

Online and facetoface experience teaching
Art History at another postsecondary institution.
Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset).
Demonstrated success in innovative or studentcentered teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Compensation

We offer an attractive compensation
:
$8,809.84 per course for a Master's degree holder and
$9,833.12 per course for a Ph.
D. holder.
