- Analyze and summarize medical records, past medical history charts, any additional medical information received in a claim;
- Request supplementary records needed to complete the medical evidence of a file;
- Perform a detailed review to evaluate plan eligibility, pre-existing medical condition stability requirements, applicable exclusions, reasonable and customary procedures .
- Diploma in the medical field;
- Work experience in the medical field;
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well in English, both written and spoken is required;
- Ability to read and understand written Spanish would be considered an asset;
- Solid decision making, problem solving and communication skills;
- Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to set priorities;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
