    Sales Representative & Product Developer

    Enza Zaden Canada is looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our team in Leamington, Ontario.

    What will you do as Sales Representative & Product Developer?

    As Sales Representative and Product Developer you maximize sales and profit, with the existing product portfolio and support the decision-making process and successful introduction of new varieties.

    · Responsible for the budget, forecast and pricing within the assigned group of customers and area of responsibility.

    · Responsible for the development and maintenance of business relationships with customers.

    · You provide reliable technical advice to customers to have our varieties successfully grown.

    · Identify new promising experimental varieties from local screening and global Breeding.

    · Support the introduction of new Enza Zaden varieties with technical support and clear positioning towards to customers.

    · Accompanies sales professionals on calls where appropriate and contributes to training of less experienced sales representatives in the assigned crop.

    · Independently prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.

    · Other duties as required.

    Your power

    As Sales Representative & Product Developer you have a good understanding of how the industry works. You are well spoken, driven and you want to serve our customers efficiently. You remain up to date about the developments and trends in the market. You are someone who takes initiative, recognizes opportunities, and has an organized method of working. You can work independently, but you are also able to work in a cross-functional teams.

    · Minimum of bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Agriculture or related field.

    · Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a vegetable grower network.

    · Excellent sales skills (gains trust, establishes a business objective, identifies customer needs, explores solutions, develops action plans, and overcomes objections through negotiation).

    · Professional, assertive, with clear communication skills (verbal and written).

    · Strong skills in planning and organization, influencing / persuading and you have strong management skills.

    · Occasional travel, outside Ontario and international (10-20%).

    · Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    Estimated salary pay range $84,800 - $102,900.
