Reports to:
Production Supervisor
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is responsible to perform packaging, material handling, cleanup and other elemental activities in processing, manufacturing, and utilities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
- Check and weigh materials and products.
- Pick, pack, crate, and package products from various warehouse locations.
- Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
- Cleaning, organizing, sustaining Shipping / packaging Department.
- Perform other laboring and elemental activities.
- When necessary, take on other tasks to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Assist in controlling production costs by ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and effective use of consumables.
- Participate in weekly department meeting.
- Participate in department training.
- Responsible for safety, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Work overtime when required.
- Other duties as required.
- Crating and palletizing various size parts
- Packaging heavy and fragile equipment
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in using power tools.
- Experience as a forklift operator
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Willingness to contribute to a safe work environment by following all Company health and safety rules and policies.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing preferred
- Able to follow processes, procedures and/or instructions from Supervisor or lead hand.
- Good communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability and stay on task with mínimal supervision.
- Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, creative, fun, and positive environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, selfstarter and energetic.
- WHMIS Training Preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and move inventory up to 50lbs.
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. repeatedly daily.
- Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
