    Property Construction and Maintenance Manager
    Full-Time

    Established in 2020, Mini Mall Storage Properties has been successfully acquiring storage facilities throughout North America with rapid expansion in the United States.

    We have a team of talented and diverse self-storage experts who span across 15 states and 7 provinces to support and manage our rapid growth across North America.

    With over 50,000 units and almost 8 million square feet of self-storage space, our goal is to make storage simple and accessible throughout life's transitions.

    The Mini Mall vision is to provide storage seekers with convenience and state-of-the-art technology.

    As a Property Construction and Maintenance Manager , you will be responsible for supporting our Operations team by identifying capital projects, budgeting, scheduling, and executing the completion of approved projects.

    You will also work with the Acquisitions teams by providing due diligence information, through property assessment reports.

    In compiling these reports, you will also be responsible for identifying capital project needs for existing sites and future expansion possibilities.

    Generate comprehensive capital plans and budgets for each property in a geographical area, considering all identified maintenance requirements.

    Attend all review meetings related to property acquisitions, either in-person or via media platform, as required to provide insights and updates.

    Review all BPCA (Building Property Condition Assessment) reports for clear understanding of scope and costs.

    Entry of building system conditions into the Capital Planning Software (VFA) and generate relevant reports for annual budgeting purposes.

    Provide design support to troubleshoot complicated, expensive, or time sensitive projects.
    Complete all stages of project planning and execution.
    Complete 6-month and 12-month post completion review and compare to original capital project projections.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    Oversee the procurement of material, equipment and subcontractors and manage their performance on assigned projects.
    Associate degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent construction and/or maintenance in-field experience.
    ~5+ or more years of experience as a Project Manager or Facilities Maintenance Manager in multi-family, self-storage, or commercial building, inspection, design, construction, and maintenance.
    ~ Must have current Passport and ability to travel.
    ~ Certification on Project Management (PMP) preferred.
