Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all facets of daytoday Human Resources support including developing and contributing to strategic activities and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and managing expectations with stakeholders, including Partners, people managers, and employees.
- Serve as a knowledgeable HR advisor to local partners and managers in addressing employee relations matters.
- Proactively gather, analyze, and share data and recommendations with stakeholders to contribute to strategic decision making.
- Accurately maintain data integrity in HRIS (Workday) and administration of payroll, benefits, and all LOA/STD/LTD.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and participate in the full recruitment process for all positions.
- Coordinate successful onboarding of new joiners, including background checks, preboarding, and orientation.
- Stay informed on upcoming changes to legislation in both Ontario and Quebec and make any necessary policy changes, adaptions.
- Coordinate the annual renewal efforts of the group insurance program by seeking the best cost effectiveness as well as administering the program along with the RRSP program.
- Mitigate risk by resolving employee relations and conflict issues and escalate situations to the HR Director and Office of General Counsel as appropriate.
- Participate and contribute to Partner, management and staff meetings, DE&I committee, health, and safety committee.
- Manage vendor relationships for all HR programs.
- Degree in HR Management coupled with CHRP preferred.
- Fully bilingual English/French
- Worked with offices in both Ontario and Quebec and knowledge of employment laws including but not limited to Ontario ESA, AODA, OHSA, Quebec CNESST
- Strong experience managing recruiting efforts, leading onboarding/offboarding processes, coaching managers, and employees.
- Both strategic and operational execution for all Human Resources functions.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working in a HR role in a large global corporation strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- HRIS-Workday experience will be considered an asset.
- Welldeveloped communication, negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.
- The incumbent must be able to interact effectively with internal clients, external stakeholders, and international colleagues on all levels of the organization.
