Manitoba Hydro is looking for a Creative Video Producer to join our Marketing team and help shape the future of how we
communicate and engage with our employees and customers through video.

Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and working directly with our inhouse Camera Operator, the Creative Producer will lead
direction and coordination of all video production for the corporation. Key responsibilities include creative direction, planning shoots,
organizing schedules, hiring talent, and managing budgets. The Creative Producer is responsible for all tasks associated with video
production and will ensure that video outputs align with brand standards, are completed on time and budget, and strategically
support marketing campaigns and content marketing initiatives.


_ Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the creation and refinement of scripts, video project concepts, and other video related materials.
  • Support the development of a content marketing strategy through the creation of video content that aligns with the Energy for
  • Life brand narrative through effective story telling.
  • Conceptualize and create video content that aligns with customer segments and personas a deep understanding of what
- video content resonates with what audience.
  • Create and manage budgets for all video production costs and expenses.
  • Source internal and/or external staff as required, and coordinate equipment rental as required.
  • Schedule all tasks within the video production process.
  • Manage potential project disruptions related to weather and talent availability.
  • Responsible for locating, checking, and booking shooting venues.
  • Lead direction, set design, coordinating actors and support staff as required.
  • Work with editors to oversee the project's finalization.
  • Responsible for meeting with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure production quality of the final product is of a consistently high standard and on brand.
  • Support video production related to internal requirements such as Presidential messages, conference documentation, and

- internal culture.
  • Work in collaboration with the Digital Engagement Supervisor to ensure digital solutions/channels are leveraged in the delivery
- of video related content.
  • Work in collaboration with the Creative Services Supervisor to ensure video content aligns with creative concepts, brand, and

- marketing objectives.
  • Work in collaboration with the broader Customer Strategy & Experience team to analyze and optimize the performance of
- video content - ensuring alignment with customer journeys and strategies.
  • Work in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team to align on video related content being leveraged on corporate
social media channels.

  • A bachelor's degree with a major in film studies or video production with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
OR

  • A twoyear Diploma in communications with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A portfolio of work completed as a Creative Producer.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinker with datadriven analytical aptitude.
  • Indepth knowledge of video production processes and activities.
  • Skilled at negotiation, planning, and budgeting.
  • Able to lead a production team and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable with a fastpaced work environment.
  • Problemsolving skills, deadlinefocused, and goaldriven.
  • Meticulous in their work with high standards of excellence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $ Hourly,
$81,036.54-$111,819.24 Annually.
