    Description:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Commerce, the chosen candidate will be responsible for ecommerce and card non-present insights, roadmap planning, product development, and holistic solution design. This comprehensive approach entails a keen interest in Merchant Experience, Employee Experience, operational impacts, and financial aspects of new endeavors. Key areas of responsibility comprise:

    • Product manager responsible for supporting and enhancing Digital Commerce's long-term payment gateway strategy for digital payment solutions. Focus is on offering merchants a seamless front-end experience to accept various payment solutions (credit card, debit, alternative payment methods like Buy-Now-Pay-Later), ecommerce fraud solutions, and value-added tools to streamline their operations.
    • Contribute to onboarding efforts for the payment gateway, aligning long-term goals and features with TDMS's merchant requirements. This involves conducting business due diligence procedures to grasp the gateways' strategic direction and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with specific TD merchant segment strategies and the broader industry.
    • Evaluation of different commercial and go-to-market models, encompassing the creation and upkeep of customer terms and conditions. Collaboration with vendors, legal teams, compliance officers, and operational partners is essential to address operational implications effectively.
    • Significant role in implementation, including detailing requirements for Day 2 activities such as merchant onboarding, servicing, and lifecycle management.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding the TDMS ecosystem comprehensively, including the product lineup, current and future infrastructure, operational and sales processes, and applying this holistic view to new product strategies.
    • Engage with various stakeholders (infrastructure, delivery, operations, sales, etc.) to align on present and future initiatives for maximizing end-to-end value, competitive advantage, and optimal utilization of allocated resources.

    Job Requirements:

    • Prior experience in product implementation or exposure to technical planning, project methodologies, operations, and sales enablement. In-depth involvement in executing go-to-market strategies, including crafting communication plans for sales teams, marketing, and clients.
    • Background in payments or ecommerce industry operations.
    • Experience as a product owner, overseeing product management, client journeys, client experience ownership, competitive analysis, and research.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence various audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals, executives, employees, vendors, and payment network partners. The role may involve providing leadership and support across different audience types, requiring adaptability and situational awareness within TD Bank's ecosystem.
    • Effective oral and written communication abilities with a focus on audience perspectives, comprehension, and needs.
    • Demonstrated sound judgment and proficient time management skills.
    • Interest or exposure to business case development and product P&L management.
