They are currently seeking an Executive Chef who can continue to uphold their high culinary standards while bringing creativity and innovation to their renowned seafood-focused menu.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including menu development, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and maintain the highest standard of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Foster a positive, creative, and collaborative kitchen environment, encouraging the team to uphold these standards.
  • Source highquality ingredients, with a focus on sustainable and local seafood.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, ensuring costeffective operations without compromising food quality.
  • Represent the restaurant in media and public relations initiatives as required.
  • Uphold the highest levels of safety and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and food safety standards.
  • Implement new culinary techniques and presentations to enhance the dining experience and keep the restaurant at the forefront of culinary trends.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to align the kitchen's objectives with the broader goals of the restaurant.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:


  • Significant culinary experience, preferably as an Executive Chef in a highend seafood or similar restaurant.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of seafood preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading highperforming kitchen teams.
  • Indepth understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management.
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage costs and inventory effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
