Our team is growing, and as a result we're adding a Junior Geophysicist to our group.As part of the team in the Prairies and North Region , you'll be responsible for driving forward our ambitious plans to enhance our Earth and Environment service offering in the region through your work with a close-knit team of engineering specialists, professionals, and technical staff.

#You'll conduct shallow ground geophysical surveys including Seismic Refraction, MASW, Electrical Resistivity Imaging, Magnetics, Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetics and Microgravity methods on land, in boreholes and over waterYou'll process and interpret data using industry standard geophysical interpretation software
You'll help write technical reports including data visualization
You'll work with multi-disciplinary project teams
A university degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering or related discipline majoring in Geophysics
Post graduate qualification in geophysics is an asset, but not required
Ability to travel and complete field work (30-70%)
Ability to work outdoors, including in remote areas in Canada
Comfortable driving in remote areas and off-road settings as well as helicopter travel and operating off-road vehicles (i.e. UTV, ATV, ARGO, Snowmobile) – safety and competency training will be provided
Physical fitness, mechanical aptitude, experience with computers and electronics
