    Description

    The ideal candidate
    should have a professional demeanor, excellent diplomacy, and top-notch information management abilities. The work is fast-paced and requires self-motivation to ensure accuracy and completeness within established guidelines.

    The role of Executive Assistant involves:

    • Scheduling, organizing, and preparing for meetings and events, including making travel arrangements
    • Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
    • Providing information and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
    • Collecting data, reviewing accuracy, and submitting information to the Ministry of Education
    • Creating, compiling, and maintaining various documents and reports
    • Establishing and nurturing effective working relationships
    • Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines independently or as part of a team
    • Supporting other office staff as required
    • Exercising sound judgment, confidentiality, and initiative
    • Performing additional assigned duties

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Completed grade 12 and post-secondary administrative program
    • Minimum of 4 years' office experience in a senior support role
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on confidentiality and respect
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
    • Proficiency in communication, organization, problem-solving, time management, and human relations
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and ability to learn new programs
    • Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute

    This is a permanent, full-time position starting on September 2, 2024, with a competitive salary range of $65,546 to $76,206 and comprehensive benefits package.
