- Drive business performance by partnering with the Commercial Directors to set performance targets, monitor performance against KPIs, assess commercial risk and intervene to exploit opportunities or re-set course where necessary to ensure Canada meets and exceeds its objectives.
- Lead pricing and contract team, ensuring RFP submissions are completed accurately and on time. Develop team to maximize performance and ensure team objectives are aligned with the business strategies.
- Lead business analyst to help develop and drive improvements in sales reporting and advanced analytics.
- Work with business unit directors to develop and execute salesforce compensation that meets the market's financial objectives.
- Drive the strategic and commercial planning processes of the Canadian business. This will include strategic review planning, budgeting, and forecasting and will require an excellent understanding of the business drivers required to achieve business objectives.
- Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred but relevant business-related qualifications would be considered.
- Highly and practical understanding of the taxable statutory environment/regulation in some markets of the region
- 8+ years post-qualification experience with at least two years in a senior commercial finance position in Canada.
- Experience on a leadership team, providing financial insight and innovative solutions to a commercial team.
- Relevant industry experience advantageous, ideally in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals.
- Experience in M&A as a plus
