    Description

    Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

    Our client is a leader in their space as a manufacturing and distribution company in the Vancouver area. As an HSE Specialist, you will develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulations and best practices.
    2. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and improve processes.
    3. Analyzing incident data to identify trends and develop preventive measures.
    4. Providing training on HSE topics, including hazard recognition and emergency response.
    5. Collaborating with teams to integrate HSE into business processes.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in occupational health, environmental science, or related field.
    2. 3-7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in manufacturing.
    3. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
    4. Strong analytical and communication skills.
