The opportunity:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with all technology departments to create, change and enforce cybersecurity practices
  • Maintain an organizationwide threat assessment methodology
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and auditing of system logs to ensure regulatory compliance with implemented policies
  • Assess data to identify sensitive information that requires integrity controls such as encryption
  • Maintain
    TVO Annual Security Report and execute appropriate technical changes
  • Understand the
    TVO's risk tolerance and identify tradeoffs to balance with the available risk mitigation investments
  • Organize and conduct tests and "ethical hacks" of the existing security architecture
  • Ensure automated patch management processes are followed
  • Implement a Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM) platform and respond to generated events
  • Document and educate staff by implementing customized campaigns to build a culture of security awareness and improving
    TVO's human firewall
  • Provide and enforce security measures for technology implementation teams
  • Execute investigative work regarding potential security threats and implement remedies as needed
  • Create and maintain communication and crisis protocols

What you will bring to
TVO
:

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of handson IT Security experience in an enterprise environment
  • GSEC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certificates
  • Expert knowledge of standard security rules, controls, regulatory compliances, and frameworks such as COPPA, NIST, ISO, CIS, etc.


  • AWS Certified Security

  • Specialty
  • Subject matter expertise in the following:
  • Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention (IPS) systems
  • Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM)
  • Firewalls (Cisco, Barracuda, etc.)
  • Packet analysis & inspection
  • Raw security log analysis
  • Microsoft Windows platforms, SQL Server security, WSUS
  • Endpoint security products (Sentinel One)
  • Computer Forensic methodologies
  • Reporting, documentation, and investigation
  • Software/web development security
  • Network security
  • Experience with the following or similar solutions:


  • Rapid

  • RSA Authentication Manager
  • InTune
  • Jamf


  • Defender for O36

  • Sentinel One
  • Forescout
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Detailoriented with proven analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Highly selfmotivated and selfdirected
  • Strong ability to build relationships and drive consensus, in a teamoriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and conflict management skills
