    This is a position for a contractor.

    The Opportunity

    The Talent Operations Consultant at Director level will collaborate with our BetterSleep team, primarily based in Montreal, to create and offer an employee experience that aligns commercially to prepare the workforce for high performance and best support the strategic goals of the business. The Senior Consultant will identify and resolve obstacles to organizational effectiveness and high performance, taking proactive measures to boost employee engagement. They will work directly with Executives and senior leaders to formulate and implement talent and operational strategies that fuel business growth and match the global corporate culture and HR plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with our Talent & Workplace Manager to engage our in-person, remote, and hybrid-location employees, ensuring an appealing work environment and experience.
    • Advocate, lead, and promote a culture of continuous improvement fostering sustainable and profitable business growth.
    • Act as an advisor and local hiring facilitator in Montreal, partnering with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure an efficient hiring strategy and process.
    • Facilitate employee onboarding and develop additional programs to assist new team members in integrating smoothly.
    • Maintain high employee satisfaction, adapting or creating programs when necessary.
    • Design benefit and swag programs tailored to the genuine needs and preferences of the team.
    • Handle complex employee relations issues and devise effective problem-solving plans.
    • Organize engaging, intentional, and fun employee events and off-sites.
    • Ensure that lack of tools or resources does not hinder any employee's workflow.
    • Create and oversee employee training initiatives for ongoing skill enhancement, adjusting strategies to meet organizational objectives.
    • Stay attuned to the company's requirements and build rapport with all team members.
    • Coordinate the operational aspects of the company's engagement in events and conferences.
    • Continuously enhance the physical office workspace while guiding and supporting the Talent and Workplace Manager through new projects.
    • Collaborate with HR and the Leadership Team to handle organizational communication and change management necessities.
    • Contribute to and collaborate with members of the center-of-excellence team in M&A projects and integration endeavors.
    • Establish and drive an integrated, performance-driven culture aligned with the Company's values.
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures following legal requirements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, Teladoc Health policies, and HR practices.
    • Support the continuous growth of the HR team to become top-tier business partners.
    • Lead enterprise-wide HR or Operations-focused projects as required.

    Requirements

    • Over 12 years of HR experience, including a broad range of roles, with a minimum of 6 years in leadership or people management positions.
    • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders effectively.
    • University degree in business administration, social sciences, Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
    • Strong business acumen and passion for commercial aspects, understanding company finances, resource allocation, and business objectives is crucial.
    • Demonstrated success in driving cultural and behavioral shifts in a multinational environment with diverse talents and cultures.
    • Experience in previous business integrations.
    • Outstanding communication skills (listening, verbal, written).
    • Capability to influence at all organizational levels.
    • Consistently exhibit a positive attitude, act as a team player, display professionalism, and inspire trust.
    • Inspirational leader with virtual team management experience.
    • Adept at managing a heavy workload in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
    • Strong analytical skills with a focus on metrics.
    • Proven track record in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity enhancements.
    • Prior experience in Healthcare or High Tech sectors desirable but not mandatory.
