    GCBS Group, headquartered in Durham Region, specializes in offering comprehensive commercial building services throughout Ontario. Currently we are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. We are searching for an organized individual with a positive attitude, a friendly demeanour, and demonstrates a strong work ethic with relevant experience.

    Position Overview: We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Building Services department. This role is crucial in supporting our scheduling coordinator by sourcing contractors and materials to meet job requirements.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the Scheduling Coordinator to understand project requirements and timelines.
    • Source contractors for jobs, ensuring they meet project specifications and budgetary requirements.
    • Research and identify reliable contractors and vendors for specialized services.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and vendor information.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contractors arrive in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively with contractors and vendors to resolve any delays.
    • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and documentation.
    Requirements:
    • 2+ years of experience working in facility service field or other related fields.
    • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to manage high volumes of work effectively.
    Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (on-site)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $45,000.00 per hour
