    ABGi Canada, a subsidiary of Visiativ, isseeking a Senior SR&ED Consultant to join our dynamic teamof Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED)tax credit professionals. This is a unique opportunity to join agrowing and entrepreneurial R&D team inToronto.     Theposition

    As a SeniorSR&ED Tax Credit Consultant with science-based clients atABGi Canada, you will bring strong technical skills to a team ofother STEM individuals and work in a collaborative team environmentto identify and substantiate R&D tax credit claims forclients across Canada. This position will specialize in workingwith clients in the IT and STEM sectors. ABGi Canada has workedwith hundreds of clients in the architecture, engineering,software, biomedical sciences, oil & gas, manufacturing,apparel, brewing, aerospace and agriculturesectors.


    Aday as a Consultant

    Throughinteractions with customers and ABGI Conseil Mission Management,you will identify activities eligible for the SR&ED taxcredit and develop the claim structure.
    Identifyexpenditures related to these activities that are eligible for theSR&ED tax credit and/or government grants andsubsidies.
    Prepare SR&ED or grants and subsidiesclaims to be submitted to the tax authorities, in collaborationwith the client and under the supervision of the ABGI Conseilproject manager.
    Document claims using relevant forms andtechnical reports to support the work.
    Assist clients inthe Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audit process.
    Participatein international collaborations with other group subsidiaries (USA,UK, France, Brazil).


    Yourbackground

    Master's degree orhigher in engineering, computer science, electronics or a relatedfield, from an accredited university.
    At least one to fiveyears' experience as an SR&ED consultant in a professionalservices organization.
    Knowledge of the SR&EDprogram and other government incentives.
    Ability tounderstand technological issues and articulate them clearly toenhance the value of SR&ED-eligibleitems.
    Previous professional experience in computerscience, gaming, electrical engineering, electronics or mechanicalengineering.
    Excellent communication skills, both writtenand verbal, in French and English
    Ability to conducttechnical discussions with specialists in several technologicalfields.
    Excellent project managementskills.
