    As a key member of the ICU/CCU team, the Clerical Associate will register patients using Meditech software, assist with all clerical functions necessary for the smooth operation of the ICU including answering the telephone and dealing with inquiries from the public and hospital staff.


    Other activities include, but are not limited to:
    maintenance of patient records, data entry, physician orders and insuring adequate and proper office supplies.

    The Clerical Associate must maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

    This is a part-time position to work eight (8) hour and twelve (12) hour shifts as required – days and evenings, weekends and statutory holidays included.

    Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
    Medical Office Administration program certificate required
    Medical terminology certificate required.
    Excellent keyboarding skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
    Excellent keyboarding and computer data entry skills required.
