    Billing and Collections Specialist

    Toronto – Downtown – Hybrid

    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a skilled Billing and Collections Specialist with 3-7 years of experience to join their established finance team.

    The ideal candidate will have some experience with e-billings and a proven track record in the professional services industry.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the endtoend billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries.
    • Conduct collection efforts to minimize outstanding accounts receivable and improve cash flow.
    • Utilize eBillings platforms (3E) to streamline billing procedures and enhance efficiency.
    • Generate reports and provide analysis to support decisionmaking and improve collections performance.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize billing and collections processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's/College degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
    • 37 years of experience in billing and collections, preferably in the professional services industry.
    • Proficiency in eBillings platforms and billing software (e.g., 3E, elite, PC Law, Aderant).
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
