- Human Factors certification from a recognized body (e.g. BCPE, ACE), or able to attain the designation
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications is required for preparation of reports, recommendations, and presentations.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer, or able to attain the designation
- An understanding of CANDU nuclear power plant design, operation, and regulatory requirements
- Ensures that deliverables (e.g., analysis, drawings, specifications) comply with applicable regulations, standards, procedures, and human factors principles
- Knowledge and/or experience in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills applicable internally with project team members as well as externally with project partners
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team with Engineers, Analysts, and Project Managers, delivering projects that vary in size, complexity and scope
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal team members in the design process
- Ensures accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with quality program
