    • Be collaborative and work as one team: fostering communications in a
    Payroll Specialist to ensure the timely and accurate processing of the US and Canada payrolls. This will include payroll operations, payroll taxes and general ledger for all employees.
    Process semi-monthly payrolls using Workday software
    Continually identify and drive improvements within the payroll processes leveraging the SBI Business System Tools
    Ensure proper controls and audit are in place to mitigate risks within the payroll department
    Coordinate with and support HR and Legal with equity related compensation and ensure that employee equity related transactions are properly taxed and reported
    Reconcile all payroll related accounts
    Develop payroll systems solutions and enhancements
    Remain current on all new US state and federal government regulations and Canadian regulations involving payroll matters
    Ad-hoc projects as necessary
    Degree in business, accounting, finance or related field a plus
    Minimum 4+ years' experience managing US AND Canada payrolls required
    Certified Payroll Profession (CPP) preferred
    Experience managing Payroll with 300+ employees
    Strong system background (Workday, ADP preferred)
    Experience working globally and understanding international payroll issues preferred
