    Description

    Our Client is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to work directly with end users to troubleshoot technical issues, create and process requests, and support business teams. In this role, strong political acumen, written and verbal communication skills, and extensive experience with stakeholder relations are crucial.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work remotely with the flexibility for onsite meetings when necessary (rare occurrence).
    • Must be a Canadian Citizen and work within Canada at all times.
    • Pass an enhanced security check and have continuous residency in Canada for the last 3 years.

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.
    • Experience as an Application Help Desk Analyst with a focus on assisting external stakeholders in enterprise applications.
    • Proficiency in Help Desk software such as BMC Remedy, Cherwell, MS Team Foundation Server, etc.
    • Direct client interaction experience to ensure effective communication with all parties involved.
    • Ability to support multiple applications simultaneously.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and SharePoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to work independently or in a team.

    Nice To Have Skills:

    • Experience in developing user manuals and training materials.
    • Documenting user requirements and business processes.
    • Participating in User acceptance testing.
    • Providing end user system support, including data validation and conversion.
    • Supporting web-based systems on various browsers.
