    Introduction:

    Join AppLovin's Array team as a Staff Android Engineer. Array offers a comprehensive app management suite that leverages AppLovin's vast app ecosystem, providing enhanced value to mobile operators and users. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and developing top-notch Android apps using Java or Kotlin. This role involves collaborating across teams, offering technical guidance, and ensuring the on-time delivery of quality software.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
    • Collaborate with diverse teams to plan new features and identify requirements.
    • Guide and mentor junior developers, improving their skills and ensuring success.
    • Utilize data for decision-making, workflow improvement, and innovation.
    • Participate in code reviews, address issues, and propose enhancements.
    • Tackle and resolve development, testing, and production issues.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in Android app development using Java or Kotlin.
    • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
    • Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
    • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
    • Understanding of the Android SDK and platform.
