    Role: Safety and Quality Specialist

    Location: Saskatoon

    Work Schedule: Dayshift Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

With a strong emphasis on customer-centric values, leadership, integrity, family spirit, and excellence, Crestline Coach is currently looking to expand its Safety and Quality Team with a dynamic and skilled individual as a Safety and Quality Specialist.

    • Conduct Internal Quality System Audits at set intervals, perform root-cause investigations, and generate reports.
    • Create Visual Training Aids based on RMI's (Reliable Method Instructions) for Production areas.
    • Maintain all RMI's (Reliable Method Instructions) documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant safety & quality standards (e.g., ISO, SEA, CSA), create new documents promptly when needed.
    • Assist in maintaining proper documentation and reports for all safety & quality functions.
    • Coordinate Maintenance Schedule in collaboration with the Maintenance Team.
    • Document non-conformances and contribute to the development of corrective actions.
    • Participate in Worksite Safety Inspections and New Hire Orientation Program.
    • Develop training materials, guidelines, and evaluate training competencies. Adhere strictly to safety & quality standards and audit requirements.
    • Oversee the Mission Zero Annual Survey and implement actions to enhance results.
    • Establish Key Process Indicators for the Safety Management System.
    • Organize Crane, Forklift, PME, Fall-Protection & Respirator Training Programs.
    • Stay updated on new Legislation and International Standards related to health and safety.
    • Conduct Worksite Safety Inspections and classify issues by Hazard Classification for corrections and preventive measures.
    • Coordinate Sub-Contractor & Supplier Safety Orientation.
    • Identify and rectify potential Safety issues and alert relevant personnel promptly to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

    Technical Skills required:

    • 3-5 years' experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Experience in an ISO- environment.
    • University/College degree and/or technical diploma is an added advantage.
    • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
    • Familiarity with safety & quality processes.
    • Understanding of quality system concepts like ISO, QVM and BNQ.
    • Familiarity with safety systems (OH&C Level 1 & 2).
    • Experience in building or participating in safety/quality programs.
    • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor's certificate.
    • Experience in Risk Management.
    • Six Sigma Green and/or Black Belt.
    • Experience in systems and product auditing.
    • Project management experience.
