About the Role

The Sales Representative's primary responsibility involves selling to both new and existing clients within an assigned territory. This includes promoting new material handling equipment and other related products or services based on the current commission structure.

Main Responsibilities

Achieving sales targets set by the company
Engaging with current clients to introduce new Toyota brand Class 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 material handling equipment
Seeking out new business opportunities within the designated territory
Providing customer service by addressing and resolving issues related to billing, products, or services
Offering quotes and product/service recommendations tailored to customer requirements
Submitting call and monthly sales reports as needed
Maintaining consistent sales activity records in CRMD
Ensuring adequate territory coverage and reporting accordingly
Facilitating customer introductions to service associates

Requirements & Experience

Applicants should have post-secondary education or equivalent experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in industrial sales. Previous background in the material handling industry or capital equipment sales is advantageous.

Working Environment

This role involves daily travel to client sites, requiring a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

The job demands include sitting, standing, walking, talking, and listening while also necessitating a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.

The role offers a competitive base salary, guaranteed commissions for the initial three months, car allowance, and a gas card. Potential total earnings range between $80,000 and $120,000 per year.
