    The role / What are we looking for?KPMB is seeking an experienced and ambitious marketing professional to play a leading role on the team, working at the intersections of architecture, interiors, urban design, and more.

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will be deeply integrated in project work, developing and managing initiatives while balancing day-to-day priorities across the portfolio of firm projects.

    The ideal candidate for this dynamic role is intelligent, curious, resourceful, imaginative and organized, with demonstrated experience in marketing communications and a passion for architecture, culture, and the arts, excited to work within a design-led business.

    Success in this role requires a natural orientation to collaboration and teamwork and the ability to work independently on deliverables.

    This role is best suited for a curious and informed reader with a deep interest in news, trends, and events in the design/architecture culture space.

    This role requires excellent and creative writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to quickly produce written materials, including thought leadership strategies, press releases, reports, presentations, and more.

    Ultimately, you will support the development of multi-media marketing campaigns and be responsible for the execution of marketing services that maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of channels.


    Select key responsibilities:


    Marketing + Communications Strategy· Work in collaboration with the Director of Marketing on the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to enhance the firm's brand presence and business development· Develop and execute internal and external announcements aligned with KPMB's overall business strategy· Conduct market research as input for marketing strategy development and support in the drafting of campaign and content strategies· Propose and create thought leadership narratives for various platforms and campaigns to build awareness, demonstrate expertise, and support opportunities for lead generation· Stay updated on industry trends, news and share actionable insights with the team· Participate in creative brainstorming sessions internally and contribute ideas and insights related to strategic objectivesContent Management + Delivery· Implement media campaigns, advertising, award submissions and various PR visibility in print, online and across a variety of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and X · Collaborate with clients, external partners, graphic designers and photographers to procure and develop brand materials for press events such as press release, kits, books, etc.· Create presentation briefs and supporting written content (social media, newsletters, press releases, news stories, project pages, internal communications) for projects, products, and campaigns, aligning with KPMB's vision, mission, and objectives· Develop and manage KPMB's content calendar, seeking out new opportunities for outreach in alignment with KPMB's vision, mission, and objectiveMarketing Coordination · Contribute to the planning and coordination of various events such as openings, launches, conferences, and speaking engagements· Promptly manage intake and feedback on project press plans, products, and launches, providing critical feedback with the goal of elevating the firm's brand· Manage logistics from vendor coordination to run-of-shows and day-of execution· Provide ad hoc marketing and coordination support for KPMB's philanthropic efforts and partnership fulfillment· Generate and evaluate reports on the effectiveness and performance of digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals for monthly and quarterly targets · Attend external industry events to craft real-time content and fulfill commitments to project or partnership stakeholders· Collaborate with graphic designers to implement printed and digital material· Work with the creative team, and third-party ad servers in the campaign set-up, ad trafficking and monitoring of digital campaigns· Oversee quality assurance and testing of creative assets to ensure proper digital functionalityMedia Relations· Act as the first point of contact for KPMB when liaising with global media relations· Develop and pitch compelling ideas and create electronic press kits and customized media grids and lists to support editor pitching· Handle incoming media requests and brief firm representatives on strategy · Monitor media landscape providing updates to leadership on trends, opportunities, and risks and how KPMB plugs into it· Cultivate relationships with key design and architectural media, journalists, influencers and thought leaders in the industry with the goal of continuous growth of KPMB's reach and reputation Candidate Profile + Qualifications· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing communications, or content creation in architecture· A minimum of 5 years of experience working in communications, marketing, media relations, brand development, social media, and event marketing within architecture/design or related field· Demonstrated understanding of brand and marketing strategy development and standards with an ability to craft engaging narratives, tailored to diverse audiences· Familiarity with key topics, market drivers, and thought leaders and networks influencing the built environment today· Proficiency in written and verbal English communication, showcasing quick, precise writing, and editing skills· An interest and understanding of the architecture, design, interiors, and/or real estate development industry· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and effective task management and prioritization skills· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Technical expertise and working knowledge with Microsoft 365 (Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), Mailchimp, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and WordPress.
