    Description

    On behalf of a major Canadian bank as well as a global leader in market capitalization, Equality Street is in search of a Digital Analytics Developer (Google Marketing Platform) to join their team focused on Digital Data & Analytics.

    As a member of the Digital Data & Analytics team, the chosen Digital Analytics Developer will have the chance to offer top-notch recommendations on tagging and web analytics implementation, as well as create tailored technical solutions to facilitate digital analytics platform integration.

    This opportunity is for a 12-month contract position with an immediate start and a strong possibility of extension.

    Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid - 3-4 days/week on-site)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with internal clients to grasp their business goals and translate them into analytics integration and tech strategy
    • Provide technical assistance to internal teams on analytics tagging, data validation, and integration
    • Customize JavaScript code for data collection
    • Define and conduct analytics QA and testing for accurate data collection
    • Debug and validate analytics implementation issues
    • Manage multiple tag management and analytics accounts
    • Guide stakeholders on proper tagging implementation and new requirements while securing existing tracking integrity

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of front-end web development experience (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML) with a strong track record in web and advertising analytics
    • Proficiency in Google Marketing Platform - Google Tag Manager, or similar Tag Management tools
    • Knowledge of Web Analytics and essential KPIs
    • Profound understanding of JavaScript and jQuery custom events along with best coding practices
    • Expertise in debugging techniques and tools for front-end development
    • Experience with project tracking software such as Jira
