    Description

    Thompson Construction Group has an opening for a Packer Operator in our Edmonton area of operations.

    Responsibilities:

  • Operates equipment in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling subgrade to desired compaction and smoothness
  • Able / willing to labour when required
  • Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Thompson Infrastructure Ltd.'s safe work practices, policies and procedures
  • Report all incidents, near-misses, and damage of equipment to site supervision
  • Ability to identify hazards
  • Must be dependable and reliable

    • Qualifications:

  • 1 year minimum experience in the Water and Sewer Industry
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Clean Class 5 Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum 18 years of age
