- This can be a remote or hybrid role with the worker supporting EST or PST time zones.
- Work on a variety of problems that better understand how customers use company's products and what drives deeper adoption and usage of products.
- Apply quantitative analysis, data mining and machine learning expertise to build models that influence product development, strategy, and roadmap prioritization.
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines that improve company's evidencebased decisionmaking capabilities.
- Partner with senior crossfunctional leaders including Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design to ensure datadriven decisions across the organization by applying the appropriate data science & analytics approaches where they will have a material impact.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for lessexperienced members of the team to deliver key MLpowered features for our Digital Customer Platform.
- 4+ years of industry experience and a passion for designing, analyzing, and deploying machine learningbased solutions.
- Bachelor's Preferred
- MS/PhD in a quantitative field: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Statistics/Analytics, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
- Experience working with relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
- Fluency with one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
- Experience with data science toolkits like: pandas, Jupyter, scikit, TensorFlow, etc.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques, e.g., classification, clustering, regularization, optimization, dimension reduction, etc.
- Ability to write high quality, welldocumented, scalable code
- Python preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex/technical work to a nontechnical audience and to present data effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS).
- Experience with Large Language Models (RAG, Generative AI) and NLP.
- Experience with recommender systems.
- Selfstarter: Able to take a big idea or complex problem, mine data to create insights, and use those insights to establish a pointofview on the idea/problem.
- Desire to learn in a fastpaced environment.
- Familiarity with MLOps, and ability to optimize ML workflows in production environments.
- Experience leading research resulting in publications.
