    job summary:

    An Electrical Engineer is needed for a world class utility company in the Tulsa, OK (hybrid) area. This position entails performing comprehensive electrical engineering analyses, developing solutions for power system challenges, coordinating projects, and providing leadership in the ERCOT area, requiring advanced technical expertise, leadership abilities, and effective communication skills.

    job type: Contract

    salary: $ per hour

    work hours: 8am to 4pm

    responsibilities:

    Perform power flow, short circuit, and facility studies in the ERCOT area.

    Write reports to explain study results.

    Develop holistic solutions to interconnect customers, correct criteria violations, and address rehab needs.

    Present projects to internal engineering groups and support them throughout project development.

    Possess advanced knowledge and perform varied assignments with proficiency.

    Lead, facilitate, and coordinate work activities of others within the work group, team, department, or other corporate entity as necessary.

    Develop input necessary to forecast costs for routine projects, improvements requisitions, etc.

    Skills: Help coordinate the work of other engineers in an efficient and effective manner.

    Education and Experience:

    Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in a program accredited by ABET.

    ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

    Acceptable alternatives:

    A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or

    A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
