    Role Overview
    Canadian Blood Services seeks a full-time Manager, Strategy Planning and Business Integration to join the Strategic Performance team within the Medical Affairs and Innovation division.

    The Strategic Performance team aids Canadian Blood Services by offering strategic planning and integration services for the Medical Affairs and Innovation division. You'll collaborate closely with the VP and senior leadership, representing the division through planning, performance, and communication. Your responsibilities entail strategic planning, supporting business strategy design, and leading strategic projects for the Medical Affairs and Innovation division.

    • Utilize your exceptional planning and organizational skills to guide MAI division leadership in strategy planning, execution, reporting, and risk management
    • Apply your ability to see the big picture and handle ambiguity to assist the division in designing multi-year business strategies
    • Lead key divisional projects, ensuring focus on benefits realization through effective project management and communication
    • Collaborate across diverse teams for integration activities, supporting corporate planning processes and executing strategic priorities
    • Support issue management and executive committee activities, including issues analysis and recommendation development
    • Facilitate portfolio management, including proposal development and relevant documentation
    • Analyze opportunities, prepare supporting materials, and ensure inclusive assessments

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or engineering; a master's degree is advantageous
    • Proficiency in project, portfolio, and change management processes; certification is a plus
    • 7 to 10 years of leadership experience in business management, planning, and strategy execution
    • Leadership experience in healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or blood banking is beneficial
    • Experience in strategy consulting is a plus
    • Demonstrated project leadership abilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
