    Fidus Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated ASIC Verification Lead to join our team in the exciting field of electronic product development.

    As the ASIC Verification Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development and verification of ASIC designs.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to develop and implement verification strategies.

    Leveraging your expertise in verification methodologies and tools, you will lead the verification process to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the design meets functional requirements.

    the ASIC verification process from concept to delivery, ensuring design meets functional requirementsProvide technical leadership & mentoringDevelop and implement verification strategies, methodologies, and test plansCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to define verification requirementsDesign and develop verification environments and test cases using SystemVerilog and UVM methodologyExecute and debug test cases, track and resolve issuesEnsure efficient use of resources and timely completion of verification activitiesMentor junior verification engineers and provide technical guidance and supportRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of industry experience in ASIC verificationExperienced Verification Lead with proven ability to plan and execute complex verification projects for ASICs or FPGA'sStrong understanding of verification methodologies and tools, such as SystemVerilog and UVMProficient in scripting languages like Perl, Python, or TCLExperience with advanced verification techniques, such as constrained random testing and coverage-driven verificationKnowledge of industry-standard protocols and interfaces, including PCIe, USB, DDR, and EthernetFamiliarity with FPGA prototyping and emulation platforms is a plusExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritiesSelf-motivated and passionate about electronic product developmentAbout FidusWith design center locations in Ottawa, Waterloo and San Jose, Fidus is a global leader and dynamic high-tech design firm.
