    Job Title: Automotive Technician at UPS in Richmond BC

    Shift: 5:00PM to 1:30AM (Monday - Friday)

    UPS is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Technician to join their team at the Vancouver Hub Facility near YVR in Richmond BC.

    Job Summary:

    Responsibilities of UPS Automotive Technicians include maintaining and repairing the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring regular servicing following preventive maintenance schedules, resolving DVIR concerns promptly, and submitting maintenance reports.

    • Work shift: 5:00PM to 1:30AM (Evening/Night Shift)
    • Working days: Monday to Friday
    • Flexible schedules based on operational needs

    Skills Required:

    Candidates must have the following abilities, skills, and qualifications:

    • Ability to follow procedures
    • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
    • Clean Driver's Abstract
    • Experience with Manual Transmission Vehicles
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
    • Bondable

    Additionally, candidates should have:

    • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
    • Validated apprenticeship may be considered
    • Own essential tools and safety shoes
    • Reliable transportation
    • Experience with Diesel Engines, Vehicle Electrical Systems, and more

    Experience in Propane-Fueled Engines and Fleet Maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.

    UPS Automotive Technicians work indoors at the warehouse shop, occasionally outdoors, and are required to adhere to uniform guidelines.
