- Review technical support tickets, emails, and calls to the IT department
- Provide feedback and system status updates to users and log requests into the problem-tracking system
- Monitor and report calls and call metrics from the time they are opened until the time they are closed while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide basic PC troubleshooting: manage power options, control panel, and image PCs, as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and server access problems for end-users
- Assist in collecting information for equipment inventory
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent in a related field
- Knowledge of networking, routing, firewalls, and security
- Understanding of ITIL Methodologies
- Relevant certifications (CompTiA A+, ITIL Foundation) are an asset
- Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma is an asset

The Opportunity
Venturis is looking for an enthusiastic Service Desk Technician to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As the Service Desk Technician you will provide Tier 1-2 support for our end users.

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $60,000.
This role is onsite based in Coquitlam, BC with the possibility of changing to hybrid after successful completion of the probationary period.
