    Description
    Test Automation Developer, Hybrid work in Ottawa.

    On behalf of our leading-industry client, Procom is seeking a Software Automation Developer.

    The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team involved in the delivery of software solutions that facilitate automated testing.

    You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, test frameworks, and test tools.

    Qualifications Required

    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    -3+ years experience in Python test development, and experience with embedded system testing

    • Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)
    • Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
    • Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
    Nice to Have

    • Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
    • Embedded system testing experience
    • Experience with database (SQL)
    • Ability to work in a multi site team environment where self driven and self motivate capabilities are key qualities
    Assignment Length: 15 months
