    We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to join our team in the transportation field situated in Longueuil.

    If you possess more than 2 years of experience as a logistics coordinator, reside in the Longueuil region, and are intrigued about being part of a top player in the industry, feel free to proceed.

    • Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday
    • 40 hours per week, flexible working hours
    • Salary range from 50k to 65k based on experience
    • Health insurance provided after 3 months' probation

    Responsibilities

    • Handle freight requests via telephone, email, or other channels from customers, underwriting department, and sales representatives.
    • Process received information to locate a carrier for that area
    • Negotiate travel terms and rates with carriers to secure top-notch service at competitive prices.
    • Monitor carrier transport operations
    • Identify and establish business relationships with transport companies capable of operating in the regions.
    • Maintain relationships with carriers and pricing agreements.
    • Monitor all operations to ensure all invoicing documents and delivery proofs are available.
    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of similar experience
    • Fluency in both French and English
    • Strong familiarity with the territory (advantageous)
    • Degree in transportation, logistics, or supply chain (beneficial)
    • Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities
    • Team player mindset
