Our clients include major banks, leading law firms, private equity firms and well-known corporations and upper-mid-sized companies.What will you be doing?You will be working on construction project advisory mandates for law firms and corporates advising on matters related to project planning, project controls, project claims and disputes, project delays, and productivity. You will provide support to global teams on major infrastructure, building, transportation, mining, and energy projects, collaborating with forensic cost accountants, engineers, project managers and quantum experts.You will be working closely with a team to resolve complex matters that pose a threat or disruption to normal operations for our clients. You will support incisive project delay investigations, create forensic analysis, and provide litigation support.You will be helping our clients and their counsel understand and resolve the financial impacts around their legal matters relating to projects in distress, and projects that require turnaround, schedule acceleration or performance improvement efforts. You will develop and communicate your analyses, findings, and insights to your team. Relying on your initiative and flexibility to deliver results in an agile and collaborative team environment, you will build strong relationships with clients, legal counsel, and expert witnesses internally and externally. Some of the main responsibilities are:
    • Assisting with compiling, analyzing and reporting on delays on major construction projects
    • Contributing to the updating of complex financial models and analyses
    • Assessing the logic, quality and integrity of schedules in Microsoft Project , Primavera, or Tilos for large projects
    • Assisting with the drafting of reports and other client deliverables
    • Performing quality control review of schedule and project control reports related to dispute advisory mandates
    • Assisting with researching technical and industry specific issues around project controls and scheduling
    • Developing and suggesting solutions to complex problems by thinking outside the box
    • Balancing multiple client projects and other responsibilities
    • Communicating proactively and presenting effectively to our dispute advisory engagement leaders, and our clients

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering
    • Working towards, or completion of Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and or Qualified Surveyor
    • 10-20 years of experience in construction and or infrastructure project management with a focus on Primavera P6 and scheduling expertise
    • Consulting experience with report writing is preferred
    • Analytics skills handling big data using MS Azure and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Effective interpersonal skills - good team player with the ability to work under pressure
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to meet client needs
    • Hybrid - Ability to work in a flexible hybrid work arrangement, part time in physical office and remote.
