    DESCRIPTION DU POSTE :

    Sous la supervision limitée du directeur régional des finances, le gestionnaire national des finances en second est responsable de la gestion des opérations comptables, de la supervision des comptes créditeurs, des comptes débiteurs, des écritures de journal du grand livre et des opérations bancaires, ainsi que du respect des lois de l'impôt sur les bénéfices. Il ou elle est responsable de la préparation des états financiers quotidiens, mensuels, trimestriels et annuels ou en dirige la préparation. Il ou elle est responsable des contrôles financiers internes et de la vérification. Il ou elle supervise la préparation du budget annuel et dirige les analyses financières.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    With limited supervision of the Regional Finance Director, the Country Finance Manager II is responsible for managing accounting operations, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger entries, Banking, and ensuring corporate tax compliance. Is responsible for or directs the preparation of financial statements for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Is responsible for internal financial controls and accounting audits. Oversees preparation of annual budget and leads financial analysis.

    PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS :

  • Superviser les comptes créditeurs et débiteurs ainsi que toutes les conciliations connexes à l'échelle nationale.
  • Remplir les rapports mensuels, trimestriels, annuels internes et législatifs selon les principes comptables généralement reconnus (PCGR) des États-Unis et locaux.
  • En collaboration avec le contrôleur régional, participer à la préparation de toutes les activités de fin de mois et de fin de trimestre, y compris la révision des balances de vérification, l'ajustement des écritures de journal, la préparation des états financiers et la conciliation du compte de bilan.
  • Surveiller les politiques et les procédures de World Courier pour les membres de l'équipe des Finances dans le pays et assurer leur respect.
  • Appuyer le processus d'approbation des investissements pour les biens immobiliers et les immobilisations – RCE
  • Agir comme principal point de contact au pays et de soutien pour les vérifications internes et externes liées aux finances
  • Préparer et présenter les rapports mensuels (états financiers).
  • Analyser les états financiers et les dépenses d'exploitation du pays.
  • Préparer et présenter les analyses financières mensuelles, y compris, sans s'y limiter, toutes les analyses de variance des revenus et des dépenses par rapport aux plans et aux années antérieures et présenter des rapports à la haute direction.
  • Participer à la préparation des examens fonctionnels mensuels
  • Travailler avec le directeur régional des finances, le gestionnaire, Planification et analyse financières, et le gestionnaire national pour coordonner et superviser les présentations au Canada et les documents et analyses connexes
  • Développer et préparer des analyses de productivité et d'efficience pour les segments opérationnels.
  • Interagir et travailler en partenariat avec les équipes des opérations, le gestionnaire national et l'équipe régionale des finances à New York pour compiler les données nécessaires pour les analyses, déterminer les tendances et répondre aux demandes de la haute direction.
  • Préparer des rapports d'analyse ponctuels au besoin.

  • PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee AR & AP with all connected reconciliations within the country they support. Complete monthly, quarterly, yearly internal and statutory reporting US-GAAP and local GAAP.
  • In coordination with Regional Controller, assist in preparation of all month end and quarter close activities, including trial balance review, journal entry adjustments, preparation of financial statements and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Supporting and monitoring of World Courier policies and procedures for any Finance team members within their country. Support the investment approval process for Real Estate and Fixed Assets - CER Act as country's main contact and support for internal/external Audits related to Finance.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly reporting package (financial statements). Analyzes country financial statements and operating expenses.
  • Prepares and presents monthly financial analysis, including but not limited to all revenue and expense variance analysis vs plan and prior year and reports to Senior Leadership.
  • Assists in preparation of Monthly Business Reviews Works with Reginal Finance Director, Manager of FP&A and Country Manager to coordinate and oversee all Canada Plan submissions and supporting documents and analyses.
  • Develops and prepares productivity and efficiency analysis for business segments. Interacts and partners with operations teams, country manager and regional finance team in New York to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses, identify trends and/or address senior management requests. Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
  • Performs related duties as assigned, including but not limited to special regional projects with a North America scope.
  • Must be willing to travel periodically (approximately 5% - 10% of time)

    EXPÉRIENCE ET NIVEAU D'ÉDUCATION REQUIS :

    Avoir une formation dans des domaines comme l'administration des affaires, la comptabilité, la vente, le marketing, l'informatique ou dans des domaines similaires, généralement acquise au terme d'un programme de baccalauréat de quatre ans, d'une formation professionnelle technique ou d'une combinaison équivalente d'expérience et d'études. Il faut habituellement un minimum de 5 à 7 années d'expérience dans le domaine culminant par un minimum de deux ans d'expérience dans un rôle de gestion

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience with a minimum of two years in a management role.

    Capacité à lire et à interpréter les états des profits et des pertes et à effectuer des analyses de variance

    Capacité à mettre en œuvre des processus se soldant par des pratiques d'audit satisfaisantes. Maîtrise de Microsoft Word et PowerPoint et des compétences avancées avec Excel Expérience de SAP, d'Hyperion et des logiciels de planification souhaitable

    MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis, financial reporting, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis. Understanding of Cencora policies, philosophy, goals and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets. Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong interpersonal skills Strong mathematical and analytical skills Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements; and perform variance analysis Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint with Advanced Excel skills Experience with SAP, Hyperion and planning software preferred.
