Accounting Assistant


Position Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records, collect, and monitor outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.
  • Generate invoices and account statements. Perform account reconciliations for AR.
  • Manage accounts payable, prepare and send the invoices to vendors.
  • Verify and reconcile bank transactions and resolve any discrepancies, post journal entries and complete deposits.
  • Enter and maintain financial data in Excel and other accounting software.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by printing and copying staff's time sheets.
  • Record staff's vacation and sick times after process the payroll
  • Perform other office administration tasks as assigned by the Finance and Payroll Manager

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in accounting or financial management
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other office software
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
