    We're building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world.

    As a Compliance Specialist co-op, you will provide oversight of CIBC's compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as part of the second line of defense in CIBC's risk management regime.

    Reporting to the Senior Director – Control Room, Capital Markets Compliance, you will support the Control Room's oversight of CIBC's private-side capital markets businesses, including the maintenance of internal data libraries, assisting with exception tracking, and performing trade reviews.

    You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

    You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.
    You can demonstrate experience in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    An understanding of the investment industry and the functioning of capital markets is an asset.
