DeFord Contracting Inc.

is looking for an _experienced _
Concrete Finisher/Form Setter for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:


  • Pour and finish materials related to project
  • Set up and finalize concrete forms to project design
  • Assist in distribution of base materials to grade specifications
  • Meet concrete specifications outlined for project
  • Load and unload construction materials
  • Construction blueprint knowledge, considered an asset
  • Maintain and use knowledge of concrete tools and equipment
  • Comply with safe working procedures and practices

Qualifications:


  • Must have 2+ years of concrete/cement finishing experience
  • Experience in placing and finishing concrete and form setting
- _
Must have reliable transportation_

  • Ability and willingness to work in hot, dusty, or cold conditions
  • Able and willing to perform heavy manual labour
  • Able and willing to work long hours and overtime during busy season
  • Must be a team player, as well as possess the ability to work independently
Above average pay for Cement Finishers/Form Setters with 5+ years of gutter/curb experience.
