Over 80 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations.
Our team of 700+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.Medcan is recruiting for a Facilities Attendant to join our client-focused Facilities team.
The role is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive conditions of all of the Clinic premises including locker rooms, lounges, offices, and examination rooms.
Will be assigned duties as directed by the Manager of Operations, Facilities.The ideal candidate has some housekeeping and light food and beverage experience and an appreciation for attention to detail.
General maintenance of all areas of the clinicHousekeeping opening and closing procedures
Setting up and managing breakfast, lunch, and snacks in clinic lounges
Stocking and inventory for the clinic lounges
Inventory and order placement for daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks
Linen supplies and inventory
Assistance with food and beverage service
Clinic supplies and deliveries as needed
Disposal of clinic waste including medical/biohazard waste
Coordinating with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service
All other tasks as assigned by the Manager of Operations, Facilities
Prior hotel Housekeeping experience in a 4-5 Star Hotel is an asset
Customer service skills training
Possession of a valid Drivers License is an asset
This is a casual position, scheduled as needed between Monday and Saturday for 8-hour shifts between 6:30am-7:30pm.
