As a Facility Maintenance Helper you will be responsible for the general maintenance of all building equipment and facility:

  • Perform a variety of routine hand-eye skilled maintenance for facilities, including, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work.
  • Ensure that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Assemble, repair, maintain work spaces (desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures).
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of silo systems, building surroundings, air compressors, dehumidifiers, Ph Systems etc.
  • Daily completion of maintenance and job reports
  • Installation, hoisting and rigging, leveling, aligning of material handling equipment and production machinery.
  • Fabrication and modification of components using standard shop tools (drill press, grinder, brake, shear and milling machine).
  • Machine shop fabrication of small parts.
  • Other duties as required

What will make you successful

  • Perform routine facility maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer manuals, technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to maintain working relationship with coworkers and subordinates.
  • Available for shift work.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in the Food industry

Physical Demands

  • You will stand/sit for long periods of time.
  • You will engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
  • You will lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Due to the environment, you will work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

Work schedule Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM
