    Description

    About the Job:

    The Registered Nurse:
    • Practices in various clinical settings and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care
    • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team
    • Ensures client-centered care delivery by helping clients and families adapt to changing health needs
    • Demonstrates specialized knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other disciplines

    This is a PERMANENT FULL-TIME (1.0 FTE) OPPORTUNITY. Shifts will be scheduled for days and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

    About this location/unit:

    Located in Vernon, between Kelowna and Kamloops, VJH provides core physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, acute and obstetrical care.

    This 32-bed medical unit focuses on the needs of complex medical clients with various diagnoses.
