    TEMPORARY
    Description
    What a typical day can look like?
    • Manage personnel, material and equipment necessary to complete the projects on time and within established budget.
    • Maitain a close working relationship with the supervisor to ensure proper delegation of responsabilities and effective operations
    • Plant flowers & shrubs, and trees
    • weeding flower beds manually, using tools or by applying vineagar
    • Redefine flower beds and laying mulch & soil
    • Proficient in using line trimmer, hedge trimmer and leaf blower
    • Driver the crew to the different sites safely
    • Inspect the vehicle and equipments on a daily basis
    • Enter work orders, inspection information and crew members hours on a daily basis.

    For a perfect match

    • Must have a valid provincial driver's license with a good driving record
    • 2 years of experience as team leader/ team supervision
    • 2 years of industry experience (asset)
    • A college diploma or DEC in horticulture, landscaping or a related field (preferred)
    • Good knowledge of landscaping and horticulture
    • Able to work autonomously
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stress
    • Competent with computers and phone apps
    • Bilingual French and English (will be dealing with Ontario customers and employees)

    À quoi peut ressembler une journée type ?

    • Gérer le personnel, le matériel et l'équipement nécessaires pour terminer les projets dans les délais et dans les limites du budget établi.
    • Entretenir une relation de travail étroite avec le superviseur pour assurer une délégation appropriée des responsabilités et des opérations efficaces
    • Plantez des fleurs, des arbustes et des arbres
    • Désherber les plates-bandes manuellement, à l'aide d'outils ou en appliquant du vinaigre
    • Redéfinir les parterres de fleurs et poser du paillis et de la terre
    • Maîtrise de l'utilisation du coupe-bordure, du taille-haie et du souffleur de feuilles
    • Conduire l'équipage sur les différents sites en toute sécurité
    • Inspecter quotidiennement le véhicule et les équipements
    • Saisir quotidiennement les bons de travail, les informations d'inspection et les heures des membres de l'équipe.

    Pour un accord parfait

    • Doit détenir un permis de conduire provincial valide avec un bon dossier de conduite
    • 1-2 ans d'expérience en gestion (obligatoire)
    • 1-2 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie (atout)
    • Bilingue français et anglais (s'occupera des clients et des employés de l'Ontario)
    • Capable de travailler de manière autonome
    • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à gérer le stress
    • Compétent avec les ordinateurs et les applications téléphonique
    • Un diplôme d'études collégiales ou DEC en horticulture, en aménagement paysager ou dans un domaine connexe (de préférence)
